Blend #2 - YUZU!
A blend of Burgundy wine barrel aged UK hopped saisons, fermented with Brettanomyces, blended, and aged for a further month on 100% Yuzu juice, before bottling and undergoing re-fermentation in the bottle.
The addition of Yuzu (Japanese citrus) complements the vinous like flavours and aromas of the base blend, adding further citrus character and a hint of lemon sherbet, as well as subtle acidity, savoury notes and increased complexity on the nose and finish.
A variation on our second in a series of blended, wine barrel fermented beers, produced at our brewery here in central Manchester. A beer to be enjoyed by itself, or accompanying food.
